Boheme is a collection of modern heirlooms by Ward + Gray, the designers behind award-winning hotels and residences around the world.

Creative Directors Christie Ward and Staver Gray lead a studio defined by an unwavering commitment to bespoke design. Within their interiors practice, nearly every element, from rugs and lighting to textiles and mirrors, is custom-made. Their work draws deeply from travel and is grounded in a sense of history.

With a shared love for travel and exploration, Christie and Staver are often found in small markets and boutique shops around the world. As their practice has grown, so too have their relationships with family-run workshops and skilled artisans across the globe. Boheme was born from these connections and this slow and thoughtful way of working.

Every Boheme piece is handcrafted, with a focus on material integrity and the hand of the artist. Each rug is hand-knotted on traditional looms using techniques passed down through generations of weavers, then slowly air-dried, washed, and sheared to achieve a perfectly nuanced, timeworn finish. The lighting collection is hand-blown by master glassmakers in Venice, Italy, with each metal component patinated by hand. For the tile collections, Christie and Staver select stone slabs that are cut and composed into mosaics—drawing on architectural references that inspired them from around the world. For Boheme’s furniture line, Christie and Staver collaborate closely with the French textile house Pierre Frey for running line fabric selections. Founded in 1935 and still family-run today, now in its third generation, Pierre Frey shares a kindred ethos with Boheme rooted in heritage, craftsmanship, and enduring design.

Boheme is a collection shaped by inspiration, passion, and a deep respect for craft. At the heart of Boheme's philosophy is the belief that true artistry is born of time and passion. These are pieces meant to be lived with, and kept, for a lifetime.
